if you search “porn” right now, you will go to porn hub, and you will see, on that very first page, videos that are sexist, racist, incestuous, fetishising lesbians, paedophilic, etc. this is the mainstream porn. this is the surface. that is what most of 96% of men saw and decided to keep looking. I don’t say things I haven’t checked and so I looked and literally the first video on pornhub offered to me was a role play of a guy fucking his stepdaughter. In my country 99% of men have watched porn. just near every man you ever meet will have watched women degraded and humiliated and fetishised. and they enjoyed it.

There’s ample evidence that porn normalizes sexual violence, including everything jackalopiel listed and more. Men (and boys) casually, openly, make jokes about incest, choking women, and misogynistic/racist porn tropes about women of color.
It has resulted in men choking and hitting women without even considering that she may object to it. More women and teenage girls than ever are having to seek medical care due to injuries from things like choking and anal sex.
Numerous men have used “rough sex gone wrong” as a defense in murder and domestic abuse trials. Judges, juries, and responding police officers have been swayed by this.
Porn has increased the rate of juvenile rape and sexual harassment - i.e. little boys harassing, touching, and raping little girls and younger children of both sexes. It has also increased sexual harassment of teachers and adult female caregivers.
I’d wager that the omnipresence of porn online, especially the prevalence of cartoon and furry porn, which is easy for kids and teenagers to stumble into accidentally, has made grooming even easier for predators, both online and off.
That’s before even discussing the exploitation of women in the industry, who are financially held hostage, become drug addicts to cope with the work, and are sometimes left with lifelong disabilities like incontinence and severe PTSD. Women who do exit the porn industry face unending sexual harassment. And that’s just in the “regulated” American porn industry.
Impoverished/trafficked/prostituted women around the world are forced into porn and will never see any of the profits. I have zero doubt that the porn industry fuels rape tourism to places like Thailand.
Men post videos and pictures of their wives and girlfriends, who never consented to those things being shared, and may well not have even consented to them being taken in the first place. Men put hidden cameras in women’s bathrooms, changing rooms, and rentals like Air BnBs and then post the videos online without women ever even knowing she was recorded.
Porn isn’t fiction or fantasy. Real women and children are harmed by it - in the industry and otherwise.
